Mission Statement:
The State Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice assists the Governor, the legislature, and communities in the development of a statewide coordinated juvenile justice system that effectively meets the needs of Wyoming.

State Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice
The State Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice (SACJJ) is made up of twenty-five (25) members having training, experience or special knowledge concerning the prevention and treatment of juvenile delinquency or the administration of juvenile justice. The State Advisory Council on Juvenile Justice (SACJJ) is authorized and given direction by W.S.14-10-101.

Goal:
To improve the coordination and effectiveness of statewide and local delinquency prevention, juvenile justice and youth services programs.

Objectives:
Develop prioritized recommendations concerning juvenile justice, delinquency prevention and juvenile services to be reviewed annually.
To coordinate the implementation of the recommendations.
To provide for the distribution of available funds for delinquency prevention, juvenile justice, and youth services.
